It’s me once again!
People usually consult me about one particular topic- why drink fridges or just beer freezers (some people use this term) are so unique and what are the most significant positive aspects of these devices are compared with its biggest competitors- wine centers and regular dorm appliances!
And really, why they are so special?
I usually do not have illusions that I know all about it; however I have been browsing about it for many years. As I said before, I usually try to learn and examine as much as possible about any kind of machine which I am thinking about to purchase or solely advise to somebody.
The most significant problem is to obtain just about all possible details about beverage chillers right before you truly buy one. Just, try not to be slack and do some homework before you go to the retail store.
Here is one tip in the beginning- the more you learn about beer refrigerators, the better your options for the good deal are.
They Are All Chillers
Enough talk, this is what I wished to point out.
Each one of models maintain our own drinks or juices at the best temp. Even so, we don't utilize these kind of appliances just for cooling down and retaining our own beverages chilled. It is not utilized only for beverages, but yet also for food.
This just is not a perfect solution. Beverage cooling is simply just the supplementary thing for the compact family fridge!
In case you check at the refrigerator's interior, you will probably get the picture. Exactly where you maintain the beer or vino in the freezer?
On the side shelf at the doorway or even in the lower gaskets. Is it correct? However, do not be concerned, this is quite normal, many people do it that way. As you see, compact chillers are ideal for foodstuff, not for beer or wine.
What About Wine Coolers?
Now it's the time to discuss regarding the wines fridges or so called wine coolers.
It is also intriguing. Coolers are certainly not so universal machines as fridges are, and their main purpose is to deal with our refreshments. It's great, naturally.
But, it is far from the good!
Every coolers possess one big fault. These devices aren't universal simply because they're designed for only one kind of beverages, often for the wine. This can be great if you have cash or just want to have a couple of machines at the same time. However, I never had the problems with more cash.
And last, drink fridges are constructed especially for the refreshments. For any types of beverages. In that feature is hidden explanation of popularity of these appliances. These units are the best sellers items for last couple of years. However, it is not a result of the massive marketing plans. People are just aware of all advantages of the refreshment centers.
They are Functioning in Different Way
All three types are constructed for cooling, but they are all doing it in the particular way.
We already explained that typical refrigerators have the widest temperature range, simply just because they are made for both our foods and refreshments.
Some units get far under the zero, because of the freezer section, of course. This is just unnecessarily, when it comes to chilling our refreshments. It is unnecessary and high-priced simultaneously. It is known that the ideal temperatures for beers is from 1 to 3 Celsius.
When it comes to wines, it would be 6 Celsius.
The temperature ranges that are far below zero are just not suggested for drinks. This also mean that you will have to spend more for the low temperatures.
Coolers need less electric power than refrigerators, but they are not great for both beers and wines.
As you can see, chillers are far better than fridges when it comes to the temps range, but they are almost worthless for those folks who want one device for all their beverages. It is because beer and wine needs different temps.
Final Word
You can like your fridges as much as you want, but these devices just are not suitable for chilling refreshments.
Coolers are a little bit better, but just for certain sort of drink.
However, beverage centers are just perfect for any kind of liquid and its packing.
